The biddies dive into ever complicated Italian wines through a comparison of two different expressions of one of Italy’s most famous grapes. They highlight that Italy has a unique amount and variety of indigenous grapes rarely seen outside the country. After introducing a rough guide to the Italian wine laws and their labeling system, Kara and Calla focus on one of the most dominant Italian varietals that has also found homes in multiple other wine regions: Sangiovese.

Wines Featured:
Kara: Castellani Chianti Classico Riserva
