Kara and Calla somehow keep it together to discuss the Paris blind tasting pitting California and French wines against each other. It was a defining moment in the globalization of the wine industry with California wines coming out on top. Without giving too much away, the biddies lay down the foundation of this famous wine tasting and they revisit the idea of comparing old and new world wines of the same varietal. Kara completes her first blind tasting of the podcast.
